Hello folks,
last weekend, together with some friends, I went to Ssese Islands, near Entebbe, and stayed there overnight; specifically on the Bugala island, which is the largest island of the archipelago.

It took quite some time to get there: Entebbe is some 3 hours away from Kampala and the ferry from Nakiwogo to Bugala takes other 3 hours.
Although long, the trip was totally worth it.

Hey there,
after a long and nice weekend at Bugala island (the biggest island of the Ssese islands, in the Lake Victoria, Uganda), today I feel very slow; so, I am going to publish a short post.

Sunset in Kampala.

At last, we are at the conclusion of this journey through this incredible park, considering its size.
We had the chance to see and appreciate very different species and got to finally see them in real life.

This was my first safari and I truly loved it. My first but not my last.
In fact, in 2 weeks I am going to undertake another and much longer challenge: Murchison Falls National Park.

Here I am, back to normal.
This has been an amazing trip; I met loads of interesting people, seen amazing places and got closer to the North Pole (one of my goals).
It was a very long trip but it was all worth it.
And finally, here are some of the pictures I have taken in Tromsø.

On the other side of the main port of Lopud, there is the bay of Šunj.
It is a proper beach, with incredibly hot sand and a restaurant/bar, and for that reason usually very crowded.
There are 2 main ways to get there: either for few kunas getting a taxi, some sort of vehicle which resemble a big golf cart,  or simply walking. As I wanted to visit the island first and then get to the island, I decided to walk.
The only suggestion I would give if you are going in the afternoon: bring water!

The island of Lopud is situated northwest of the city Dubrovnik and is a part of the Elafiti islands.
To get to the island, I had to get a ferry from the port of Dubrovnik which also stops at Koločep (the island before). Continue Reading

The Old City Harbor of Dubrovnik (Porat) is a very active area of the town, where many people go either for getting on boats to the near islands or to just relax watching the horizon and listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. Continue Reading

I find the coast near Dubrovnik fantastic. The colour of the water and the rocks make it very enjoyable and fascinating.
If there are any Game of Thrones fans reading, this part of the city has been used throughout the second season: this part of the coast has been especially used during the siege to King’s Landing. In my opinion it is amazing the feeling you get when you manage to recognize the place the actors really are.

On my way back home from work, right after entering the Grad from the Pile Gate, I noticed this artist; what surprised me was his skill to play more than one instrument at a time (actually 3) and still being able to play a very pleasant song, all by himself.
This shot took quite some time as many people were passing by, either for talking to him or just to visit the outer part of the Old Town; but it was worth it, in my opinion.
