The island of Lopud is situated northwest of the city Dubrovnik and is a part of the Elafiti islands.
To get to the island, I had to get a ferry from the port of Dubrovnik which also stops at Koločep (the island before).The town welcomes you, even before being off the ferry, with its gorgeous souvenir shops and restaurants.
The island is fairly small, since everything is within walking distance, but it still takes some few hours to visit all the main areas by foot.
