Once on Lokrum, it quite feels different from the rest of the town. By being a rather small island, a person can easily get from a coast to another in just few minutes. In the center of the island stands Fort Royal, which interiors really gave me a feeling of almost being sent back to the past. The walls are worn out, which is just a plus to the overall experience.

The center of the inner part of the fort is filled with trees, palms and bushes; bushes that form a small maze.
Lokrum, besides being historically important, is also a botanical park.
