Hello,
It took me this whole day to upload my pics, but now I can write down this post about what I did last weekend.
This weekend I went to Ottawa, Ontario, for Canada’s 143rd birthday.
After contacting some friends I have over there, in 2 days everything was set up and at 12pm I left my town. At 6pm I was there.

I was simply amazed by the number of people present that day, even if most of the attractions were gone (Queen as well), I had a lot of fun seeing funny/crazy people trying in different ways to get attentions from the crowd.

And many people, proud of being Canadian, were showing their love in their own way.

[Even chariot drivers have their own social time]
Even for many kids this day was special.
[This funny kid was screaming around the downtown ‘Happy birthday Canada!!’. So funny that screamed back ‘Yeah! Happy Birthday Canada!’ and then I could take a picture of him.]
After chilling out with some friends, we went back to the Parliament Hill for the firework.
As always, they were amazing. The only bad point was that we did not manage to get to the Parliament Hill in time, and we watched them from another location not far from there.
Then, on friday and saturday we went around Ottawa.
From the Downtown
[Bank street]
to China Town
going through the Little Italy.
After the long walk we decided to take a break and eat something japanese.
We ended up eating in a place my friend said was a cool place, the restaurant was Kiko in Preston.
He was more than right. Not only the restaurant was good looking and really Japanese-like, but also the food was really good and the employees were really gentle, helpful and also sympathetic and nice.

After different attempts, I managed to convince the waitresses to pose for a picture. They were so nice and gorgeous, I couldn’t not take a picture. 🙂

The next day we woke up early in order to see the famous changing of the guards ritual. I liked, I could take various pictures and videos.
During this week I have met many persons, seen various places and explored Ottawa. I have been also able to take many pictures.
For today I am done.
Good night!
Nesh
Glad you had a great time on Canada Day and that everything was to your liking heh.
