Nesh around The World

Hello everyone!
Last month I had the chance to visit Copenhagen (Denmark), a city I liked, even though I kind of expected something more from it; it could have just been the bad weather, I don’t know.

Anyway, we headed directly from Gothenburg by bus; we left at 2am and arrived there at 7 in the morning. The trip was horrible, at least for me, I didn’t manage to sleep nor relax. In fact, once I got there I was more tired than when I left.
The city was empty, it was a Sunday morning, and the only people you could see were people going home, probably from parties.
A guy stopped and started to talk to us, while some of his friends were shouting at him (they wanted to go home). Well, even if it might not sounds so, it was fun. But it is quite known that Danish people easily approach people in the street (the drunkenness might help).

After a quick breakfast we went to see the river and the opera house (skuespil huset) located nearby. It was right in front of the river; the area looked kind of different from what we left behind just few minutes before.

Afterwards we went to another area of the city, the most beautiful one, in my opinion.
I don’t remember its name but it had very colourful buildings and boats. At that time, the sun showed up for a while and that made the place even better.

We ended our day at Freetown Christania (here is a link on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freetown_Christiania).
It is a very special place; as you can read from the link, it has its own rules and laws.
Once you get in, you completely lose the feeling of being in the heart of Copenhagen. There it is also forbidden to take photos, for that reason I have no images to shown. I can only say: go and see it by yourself!
At the end, I believe Copenhagen is more a city to visit if you have a precise reason, otherwise the trip isn’t so much worth it. Even if the reason is just to have fun with some friends that would be way better than just going for the city itself (as you could do with other European cities).
